This course covers the following learning outcomes and goals: understanding generic data lakes, Lambda Architecture, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake Store, Azure HDInsight, Azure Data Lake Analytics, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, DTU (Data Warehouse Unit), partitioning data, and handling non-supported data types and features. The course teaches skills such as working with big data technologies on the Azure platform. The teaching method includes lectures and technical demonstrations. The intended audience for this course is individuals interested in learning about Azure big data offerings and MPP (Massively Parallel Processing) solutions.
